my shoes, my journey: April 2013
http://myshoesmyjourney.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 11, 2013. It's GE season again! Five years ago I complained about too much of 'propaganda-like' adverts. It has begun quite early this time. The only consoling point is that the adverts are no longer 'right-in-your-face' adverts. They are more subtle. I was right the last time when I said that too much of it could backfired and counter productive. May the force be with you! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, February 09, 2014. Black Beauty - visual inspection. More than 6 months and about 200km later, it was time for visual inspection of Black Beauty. The steel that was suppose to protect the chainring when Black Beauty is folded. Hand grip are still good! All the joints on the frame are still intact. The neat welds on the frame. Other than that, Black Beauty still rides as good as new. Looking forward to more adventure with Black Beauty! Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, September 27, 2013. No physical hacking nor computer programming was done to the little modem. This post is inspired by a conversation I had with a friend who told of another friend's complaint about the modem (am I making any sense? I too had the same problem started a few days after the Unifi installation. I too, took the same solution for weeks: modem reset. Then I realized that the USB port on the modem (intended for programming the modem) is just like any other USB port. So. Enjoys photograp...

Saturday, November 08, 2014. It was shocking to see this sign nailed to a tree along a street in KL:. I much rather hear birds chirping during my morning walks than the sound of engines from vehicles zooming by. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Monday, February 04, 2013. Micro-adventure: To the seaside. Recovering from a fever, I decided that I need some fresh air. A little thing by the name of 'work' put a little delay in my schedule. It was already 10.30 am by the time I got to the bus terminal. Twenty minutes later, the bus came. Boarded the bus with lil' red and paid RM 4.00 to the bus driver who is also the bus conductor. The bus departed around 11 am. Lied down in the tarp shelter, took out a nifty gadget called tablet and played some gam...

my shoes, my journey: August 2013
http://myshoesmyjourney.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 11, 2013. This ride took place 3 months ago. It is the the furthest I've been on Black Beauty to date. Stopped by a bank to settle some bills. Then I continued cycling. Rehydrated and rested, my stomach began to growl. Time for food. By the time I reached the cafe, it was almost 11am. The sun was already out in its full glory. Took a table in the shade and ordered food. I had cleaned this bowl when I was joined by Uncle Jack:. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My lens, my view.

Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Leisurely rolling around town. Links to this post. Friday, November 01, 2013. My motorbike fell. The driver got out of the van, helped to get the bike up, then left soon after. He dissappeared as quickly as he appeared. It wasn't much later that I get to inspect the damage! Ps: Friends and families, don't worry. I wasn't on the motorbike. The bike was parked at the parking lot. I could only watch from far the whole incident. Links to this post. Monday, December 31, 2012. Micro-adventure: Last Lil' Adventure for 2012. Since my previous entry, there were some changes in life. Among others, I've started working in a new job. I hope that I could again take a long break once the financial stuff are sorted out. Anyway, it was the last Saturday for 2012. And it was my day off. I decided that I need a little adventure to spice up my life. Plus, I needed some work out. So, I packed a few things, and off I went on a bus. And rolled we did! Got moving as ...

my shoes, my journey: January 2013
http://myshoesmyjourney.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 26, 2013. Micro-adventure: First lil' adventure for 2013 - Part 2. Thanking the lovely ladies at the museum's reception counter for watching over my lil' red, I continued on. The next stretch of sidewalk was under construction. Hence, I had to cycle on the main road which soon lead me to Kuala Lumpur City Gallery. Other model that caught my eyes was the scaled model of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. That I stood about seven years ago. This time I had my lil' red with me. It was alread...
