Sunday, October 3, 2010. Alison's Bedroom Makeover, finally finished! Or, at least 97% finished! LOL We still need a new clothes hamper, new drawer pulls (3 are broken), to splatter paint the canvas above her bed, and to clean the carpets, but I just couldn't wait to put up pics! I'm really happy with the way it turned out! And Alison LOVES it! It looks really good. Just like a preteen girls room should look! LOLOL You did a great job with it! October 3, 2010 at 2:17 PM. Bake something with the kids at least once a week. Blog at least once a month. Build "the biggest sandcastle at the lake" with the kids. Buy a canvas, paint it and hang it in my home. Buy a hammock, hang it and use it. Complete at least 50% of this list. Crochet a new hat/scarf for each member of the family.

Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Aidan is 7 now and still has a problem saying his R's. It sounds more like a W. However, he's very easy to understand, so it's more of a cute little quirk that anything else. Sometimes it even provides good entertainment. Like today, when we were all sitting around playing Connect 4 and he very excitedly told Alison, "He beat her! Straight-faced, he replied, "Well. At least I called you a hawr" (I don't think I have to tell you what word it sounded like.). Links to this post.
