Allison loves playing with animals at the pet store. We don't love it as much since the workers assume you're interested in buying. and we're not… at least not right now. :) This was a sweet little Aussie.boy, he was CUTE! But the one we have at home is cuter! I need to find some Chiefs pajamas, and soon! Happy Fall, everyone!

Wednesday, October 22, 2008. One thing on our list of things to do in Omaha was to visit Boys' Town. We didn't have time to take the official tour, but we did learn a lot from the kind lady at the gift shop, who told us all about the grounds, the programs, etc. We toured the grounds and supported the mission by purchasing a few things at the shop. :). Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Weekend fun - from KC. On Friday we all (Allison, me, Heather and her girls) visited a place called Wonderscope. It's a children's hands-on museum located in an old elementary school. Each room holds a different theme (shopping, nature, medicine, science, art), and it's all for kids! The girls had so much fun, and I think Hanna (almost a teenager) had a great time too! Claire picks out some fruit at the pretend grocery store. Allison models her new dress in the production room.

Tuesday, January 29, 2013. It's about bringing people together. Friday, November 30, 2012. Today I am thankful for new life. I got to visit my coworker's new baby: Micaiah. He is tiny and so precious. We got the news that our dear friend, Rick, passed away from the cancer he's been fighting for a few years now. My heart aches for his loss, for the shortness of time, but ecpecially for his family. Rick left behind a 19-year-old son, a 12-year-old daughter, and a courageous wife. Wednesday, October 31, 2012.
