Freedom with no 'om'. So I went in for a new patient exam and cleaning this morning, sans x-rays (woot! Needless to say they were astonished that I have no fillings. I was pretty proud. Looks like this girl is taking good care of her pearly whites! They were also impressed that my dental situation has not been affected by my pregnancy. Oftentimes, women get swollen/bleeding gums and a touch of gingivitis during pregnancy. Not me- thanks baby girl! Just like your mother always told you. Links to this post.

Freedom with no 'om'. It looks like a real house! So, after ripping out the landscaping from the previous owners. A year later, it is complete. Let's go back to where we started. Jumping forward to March of 2011, we were gung ho about giving the front of our house a face lift. We ripped everything out, replanting the foliage elsewhere. The edgers also bit the dust. See? Freedom with no 'om'. So much to catch up on! I didn't realize it has been so long since I've posted something fabulous (or anything, for that matter). I had a doctor appointment on Nov 23rd, and he informed me that I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I thought for sure I'd be headed to the hospital within a few days.no such luck. Thanksgiving was a GREAT time with friends. We shared a potluck style meal, and everything was delicious! So what do I do? Bust out my crafting stuff and get to work, of course!

Freedom with no 'om'. A new member of the family. No, it's not another baby. No, not another dog. Many years ago, Chris brought Tayshaun home from Burger King. He's since lived in a box, with other Detroit memorabilia. A few months ago, Chris let him out to breathe, and placed in on a shelf in our office. Camdin started noticing him, and smiling at him every time she could see him. We let them play together one afternoon, and they've been inseparable since. He's also good for teething. They remind me of Allium flowers, but I liked the all white look better. I think I could have achieved the colored look by dipping them into a shallow dish of food coloring.
