My Life as a Mature Age Student: I must be boring
http://mylifeasamatureagestudent.blogspot.com/2012/11/am-i-boring.html
My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. I must be boring. Photograph: Paul Popper/Popperfoto/Getty Images. Semester two is officially over - u-huh, oh yeah - (just imagine me doing a happy dance)! At last, now that I'm no longer doing summer semester. I can do all those things I've been fantasising about for the last three months. Let's see.there's that enormous list of books. I kind of said I'd re-read. And now I'm no longer on Facebook.

My Life as a Mature Age Student: I love you but please leave!
http://mylifeasamatureagestudent.blogspot.com/2012/11/i-love-you-but-please-leave.html
My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Thursday, November 22, 2012. I love you but please leave! I love my children, I really do. But God knows, after almost nineteen years of being a mum my patience is worn thin. I've taught them everything I know; I've loved them to within an inch of my life; I've supported them in every way I know how and I've gently nudged them towards independence. So what do you do if they're not interested in leaving the nest? I feel your pain!

My Life as a Mature Age Student: What, you're not on Facebook?
http://mylifeasamatureagestudent.blogspot.com/2012/11/what-youre-not-on-facebook.html
My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Sunday, November 18, 2012. What, you're not on Facebook? Contact. And besides, how many times have you texted or put something on Facebook that has been taken totally out of context? This has happened to me often over the past couple of years. I recently sent a friend from uni a text (a simple "ok", mind you) only to have her tell me she thought I was angry with her because I didn't put a smiley face at the end of my message!

The Kool Lemon Schwinn Sting-Ray Bike. Jamie’s train of thought continued as he tossed papers onto the front porches of the houses on his route. Mr Bentley, I just gotta have that bike. Can you just hold it for me while I earn the rest of the money to pay you for it so no one else can buy it? Mr Bentley scrutinized him over the top of his glasses before he answered. Can’t do that, boy. Wish I could, but I gotta business to run. Hi, Mrs. Thompson. Jamie struggled to keep his voice level as he look...I’ll ...

Rantings of a Middle-Aged College Student: May 2012
http://traveling-thru-time.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Rantings of a Middle-Aged College Student. Monday, May 21, 2012. Friday, May 18, 2012. That's when I got excited! Yesterday I was picking out my graduation clothes and I tried on my cap. That's when I started crying. By 2009 I was finally in my degree program- history. I had come a long way, but at this point I was still expecting to fail. Each class I began had me wondering- will this be the class that I fail? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ozarks, United States. View my complete profile.

Hello, Sunday Afternoon | Barb's Imagination
https://barbsimagination.wordpress.com/2013/05/04/hello-sunday-afternoon
Hello, Sunday Afternoon. May 4, 2013. This is the beautiful meadow I see from the window over my desk. I frequently see turkey crossing it. It’s a nice, relaxing view! As I take a break on this stressful Sunday afternoon and gaze out over the small, tree-lined meadow I see from my desk, I contemplate what Sunday afternoons will be like after I graduate. Instead, it’s a question I ponder: Will my life return to some semblance of normalcy after graduation? I asked my friend Helle. But, I will also be excit...

Degrees of Change | Barb's Imagination
https://barbsimagination.wordpress.com/2013/03/02/degrees-of-change
March 2, 2013. My degree has changed me, but not completely! If you had a degree, would it change you? This question was posed by a child actor in an online pop-up ad distributed by Ashford University. My answer to that question? Most definitely. Earning a degree has changed me. Five years ago my quest for a college degree began with an interview with Dean Flowers. He was the associate dean for Waukesha County Technical College’s graphic design department. Branding | Barb's Imagination
https://barbsimagination.wordpress.com/branding
Branding is such an important part of working with clients. It’s more that just designing a logo for a company. It involves communicating that client’s goals, mission, purpose, and more across all marketing venues. That may include print, web, and social media. Good branding creates a consistent look and feel that is easily recognizable. In an advanced graphic design class, I was given a very open-ended assignment. Therefore I approached Andy Rogers, the owner/technician of His Auto. Click to email (Open...

Rantings of a Middle-Aged College Student. Thursday, September 8, 2011. It's best when I can just take my time about these things, which is also why I am completing my education as an adult student. So here I am, trying to make a very important decision: Nellie Bly, the Red Scare, or the Spanish-American War. Suggestions anyone? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ozarks, United States. my life as a masters student
My life as a masters student. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Three weeks and counting. In three weeks time, I will be back on South African soil! It is quite strange to be saying that. It means I would have been in Paris for six months and it certainly has not felt like that at all. I feel like i have just arrived here and am leaving again. But the prospect of what next year holds is very exciting. Everything seems to be falling into place but with that said, it could all go up in flames any second now.

My Life As A Material Whore
Tiistai 10. tammikuuta 2017.

My Life as a Mature Aged Student
My Life as a Mature Aged Student. Friday, December 10, 2010. Did I get in I hear you ask? Well after much anticipation I finally got the phone call to arrange an interview. That was until he uttered the next two words “STAT test”. After no doubt seeing the look of horror on my face he assured me I would be fine and would pass no problems at all, “phew” what a relief right? 8221; I had expected an essay topic something along the lines of “Jeggins friend or foe? So that’s it I am in! Wednesday, October 6, ...

My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Sunday, March 6, 2016. To resuscitate or not to resuscitate? I'm not totally sure what the blogger etiquette is for reviving a blog that hasn't been in the land of the living for two years but I'm going to attempt to breathe some life into this old girl and see how I go. I'm still a rambling mature-aged student, wife and mother, so the title and sub-title don't need to be changed. I finished my undergraduate degree - yay! Ultimate...
