From Our Family to Yours. Grady- 4 1/2 years old. Christmas Break is here and I have a minute to update my blog. Here's what we've been up to. We had our annual Halloween Party at our house! Josie was a fairy princess. Grady was none other than John Cena! We had a great time trick-or-treating this year. Josie really got into it! My friend Sara-Kate got married in October. It was beautiful but FREEZING! Here he is with two of his buddies and their trophies! My 2nd neice, Madi, was born! She is SO cute!

Where a kid can be a kid. I got my kids back Monday morning! My in laws had kept them the whole week while I did my treatment. I wanted to take them somewhere fun to celebrate! I missed them terribly while they were gone. I had never spent 7 days away from them! Thank goodness for FaceTime using our iPad and iPhone! So to celebrate we went here:. It's really not crowded if you go early enough in the day. With it being a Monday, it was really nice to let the kids run around and not worry about a crowd!

Yesterday was your birthday and you turned 4! We had a small party at home yesterday since mommy has been so sick with my thyroid. Your grandparents and great-grandparents came over to celebrate! You made sure everyone had green on. If they didn't, you found them a green lei or necklace that said happy St. Patrick's day! You were acting like a pirate here with all your presents :). Josie decked out in green! The wrestling presents were your favorite! You did not take this mask off until bedtime!

I'm WAAAAYYY behind in blogging. But just for documentation purposes, I wanted to get pictures of our huge snow on here. It snowed on a Sunday night in January and we missed a full week of school and work. It was fun the first few days but it got old pretty quick after that! We ended up with about 9 inches! This is the most we've had in years! Daddy and Grady built a Grady-sized snowman. Grady was THRILLED to borrow his papaw's "four nenner" for a couple of days! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I found out this past March that I have Grave's Disease. Grave's Disease is an auto-immune disease that (in my case) has attacked my thyroid. Here's the story (just for my records). It wasn't until my school nurse asked to feel my thyroid that I got any real results. Turns out my thyroid was HUGE! I was out of work in March for 2 weeks! We did a LOT of this in March and April! Here are the kids last night visiting with their daddy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Where a kid can be a kid. My name is ...

Josie Claire Six Months. WowI am 14 days late posting this! Sorry for those of you waiting to see sweet pictures of our big girl! Happy 6 months to our precious little girl! What are you up to this month, Josie Claire? You weigh 17.13 pounds (90%). You are 28 1/4 inches long (off the charts). Your doctor said you were the average length of an 11 month old! You wear a size 3 diaper. You can still wear some 6-9 month clothes. For the length though you are mostly in 9 month clothing. He makes you laugh!

I really don't have an excuse for my absence of blogging.I just haven't been in the mood! We got a HUGE snow last Sunday night that kept Grady and I out of school ALL WEEK LONG! By mid week, I was really getting cabin fever but Grady has had a ball. He told me he "wants to stay home with momma everyday". It will be hard getting back into our routine on Tuesday. Tomorrow is MLK Jr. Day so we have one more day to be lazy. Let's go back to where we left off. Look what Santa brought:. Such a cheesy grin!
