View my complete profile. Monday, 18 August 2014. Today we headed to academy sports which is a huge shop similar to Rebel but bigger with lots if sports gear and outdoor equipment, even guns. We picked up a couple of thunder tops for a good price. Next we into the Chaesepeak arena to see where Thunder play and to go to the Thunder shop! Phew what a facility! Next we went to a place for lunch! We then made our way to the Oklahoma bombing memorial area and museum! Take a look at the size of his shoes!

View my complete profile. Monday, 11 August 2014. Danielle had been online to book us tickets up the Empire State Building so today was the day for us to go. We were all a bit slower this morning, not sure why! We bumped into Adele when we were almost there. It was great to see her! The queue at Empire State was very long, 2 hours, yay we had express tickets which meant we were able to walk past the long queues on each level. More awesome views from up there. Down we went again in 2 different lifts.

When we checked in our boarding passes said, stand by, and had no extra suitcases! Oh dear, now what. We went to a desk and the lady there was awesome! She said that the flight was full but we would have a seat, just not the one that was on out ticket, phew and also she had a colleague check and we were allowed the extra cases. Today we had bikes booked for the day, so we headed off to Chinatown again to pick them up! Off we pedaled, it was awesome and we arrived in Sausalito about half an hour later. I didn't go for as long as I wanted as I seem to be falling apart, my right side of my body was in pain, hip knee and wrist! Anyway we got right around the subdivision that Greg and Whitney live in. Then we went to the local park and spent some time with the kids playing. Once Hans got home we went to a Mediterranean restaurant for dinner. Huge meals and yummy. View my complete profile. Friday, 15 August 2014. Another early morning rise, 5.30am and a taxi picked us up at 6.20. Off to the next airport. The flight to Oklahoma only took just under two hours. Greg was at the airport to meet us. It was great to see him. He drove us to a restaurant to meet up with Whitney for lunch. When we got there it was empty but it filled up very fast. It was a delicious lunch if BBQ food. Cornbread, brisket, pork, turkey and chicken fried steak. Look at how tanned Whitney is!

View my complete profile. Monday, 11 August 2014. Today we decided to go to Central Park! We walked there as it was close to our hotel and hired bikes. Amongst Central Park there is a mosaic for John Lennon. I have included it in the pic collage. We also stopped by the place where he was shot! We biked all the way around the park, you can only got counter clockwise. There were so many people in the park, having picnics, walking running etc. it was beautiful! The queues were so long to buy anything!
