I've heard the term "Living With Cancer". I couldn't apply that to myself. I wasn't fighting cancer in my body like some. I'm now accepting that term for myself--not in a defeatist way--in a proactive way. This is the plan God has for me. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Here is a quick update: I had to quit work earlier than I thought. We've established a wonderful relationship with a local Hospice organization. Their goal has been to keep me comfortable and make sure I have everything I need. One of those being a pain patch which has helped to get my pain level under control.
