Last week, instead of tacos, we had Tostada. I thought I'd change things up a bit but I kept the alliteration for the sake of keeping it fun for the kids. Anyways, the girls love Mexican food. It seems to be the only type of food that they inhale. Here she is with food all over her face. Laughing and enjoying making a mess!

A note the previous week saying that he was going to get an award. I guess the only hold award assemblies right before they track off. Lil' bits of this and that. Monday, March 30, 2009. As I'm slowly working my way back through the last couple of months, I thought I'd share when Brooke got her first haircut. We went over to my friend Karina's house for a tamale making party (this was back in January). Her cousin-in-law, who cuts hair, was there. We all rounded up the kids and took turns getting their hair cut. I had to hold Brooke because she wouldn't sit still and kept taking off. Getting some little bangs. Trimming the ends off!

Sunday, January 30, 2011. Snowing at 65 degrees. Though we've had some unusually warm and beautiful days we decided to take a little trip up to the snow. We've taken Zechy every year since he was a baby so we couldn't let this season pass w/o at least 1 trip. The only place that seemed to have it right now was the very tip of Mt. Baldy. Since mom isn't really in the spirit of much these days other then vomiting that is, we skipped the family tradition of dressing up as a theme and I let him pick out his own costume.this is what he chose:.
