This prompted me to embrace each of my children's uniqueness and capture a photo of them that would show their personalities and not worry about getting "The perfect family photograph". Monday, August 30, 2010. Healthy After School Snack. Here is a super quick, very healthy recipe I've made several times that I wanted to share. They are great to pack in kids lunch boxes, for after school snacks instead of sugary cookies or even for a grab-and-go breakfast. They are loaded with protein, whole grains and a bit of fruit. Yum! Monday, May 4, 2009. Happy 8th Birthday Kayley! She was very into Littlest Pet Shops and this is her loot from the Johnson's side. She was so happy to get her own DS. Kayley wore this crown all day. Monday, January 11, 2010. It seems like my life takes a hold of me sometimes. We have been so busy and I haven't posted anything! I am still alive a doing great. Over the holidays we seemed to have something everyday. Although it was all fun it was exhausting. As soon as things slowed down Mark had surgery and we have spent LOTS of relaxing family time together. Mark misses the active outdoor family time but we will get back there soon. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Kensley lost another tooth on the bottom. After about 10 pictures I finally got these. (She closes her eyes lol) Such a cutie! The next morning she ran in my room to show me what the Tooth Fairy brought her. Kaytlyn did awesome as always. There were several games she served 4 times in a row all 3 times. Sunday, February 20, 2011. V-Day Fun with Chocolate Dipped Marshmellows and Home Made Valentine grams. Jim and I don't really 'celebrate' Valentines Day per say. I think it's a silly 'holliday'. Yup, I'm one of those. I did get a new wedding ring coincidentally to replace my original one that I accidentally threw out in my scrubs when on call a couple of years ago.
