Seems mighty useful already just to have the iPad. SO easy to show Blue things and places while he sits at his table. And we don't even have the tap-speak programmed yet. Just started. Even as I type this, I am acutely aware of how impossible it will ever be for my Bluetiful boy to do such a 'simple' thing as typing; or keyboarding as the modern lexicon would have it.
