Corrie found a killer deal on Kijiji the other day. A (used) Manitou Splice fork (130mm of travel! And an Alexrim front disc wheel for $50… $50! A $300 fork and a $100 wheel, crazy! My new Manitou Splice! Not sure how much the extra front height will affect the handling, but I can’t wait to find out! Just Doin The Mom Thing.

Part of the responsibility of having a dog includes cleaning up after him/her. It comes with the territory, no If’s And’s or But’s about it, that’s the way it is. First of all, there are those out there that will let their dog relieve themselves on a sidewalk. In someone’s yard or flower bed! Just Doin The Mom Thing.

Another beautiful morning, sunny and clear skies and a brisk 7°. I remembered the toe covers and leather gloves this morning, so my fingers and toes were kept just above being frozen! Ride down the 8’ “cliff” that Dave rode on Saturday! A bit of a different ride today. Ok, a LOT of a different ride today! The steep sections were not as bad as I remembered.
