I can only really post about my own side effects after I had the Mirena installed. Other's may differ, or may only have one from the list - but these are everything that I had :. Feeling of being in a "fog", i.e. slightly disconnected from reality - aware but unaware at the same time. Severe bloatedness, constipation. Weight gain - average one kilo a month weight gain. Yes, Severe - 50%.

It's been many years since I removed the Mirena device and no longer use any contraceptive pills, injections etc. My period recycle returned to normal, as it was before I started anything and I haven't had any gynecological issues since my last update 2 years ago.
