Sunday, July 25, 2010. I remember my mom used to get the Stella Doro anisette sponge finger "cookies" for us to eat, especially when we were very young. Chloe agrees that they are delicious, especially when dipped in chocolate milk! As an adult, coffee may be a more "normal" choice, but not in this house (we go for the Silk Light Chocolate Soy Milk.). I am happy that Chloe enjoys this treat. wonder if Riley will too? Thursday, September 1, 2011. Today is the day back in 1953 that my mom was born…. She would have been 58, and we would be celebrating with a party this weekend over the Labor Day holiday…. My sister and I will get together tonight and make my mom's best Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes…. My brother will of course say - just like when he was little:. Guess he doesn't like it as much as we do :). We'll run around like crazy people chasing after Chloe and Riley like normal. Maybe we'll make a cake in her memory.
