Friday, July 5, 2013. When my grandma was on her death bed we all went to spend some time with her. We fed her ice, arranged her pillows, and sat and talked with her when she was able. Anyone in my family can tell you that my grandma made The. Best. Jam. Ever. Among other things (lasagne, pie crust, fudge.). Even though it has been just over 3 years since she died one conversation has been carved into my memory. It was between Grandma and my cousin Elna. G: (in a very weak and shaky voice) Read the box.

Wednesday, February 20, 2013. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He is growing too fast! C noticed a week or two ago that his front 2 teeth were a little loose. This kid does not deal well with change and we were worried that there would be major meltdowns when the teeth fell out. So we prepped him as much as possible, talked it up, etc. I even made him a tooth fairy pillow. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Here is some brotherly advice I just overheard. I couldnt help but laugh. Lai: Cole, I am gonna wipe my own bum. C: just dont get poop on your hand because it smells really bad. You will have to wash your hands a lot cause it takes a long time to get the smell off. Sad part is, he knows from experience. He suffered quite a bit when we were on trek! And since I cant in good conscious leave you with a poop story, i will let you all in another funny kid story. I Love Pretty Paper.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. I Love Laila's room. She wanted a ballerina room but I didnt want to go pink. So we went with an aqua/ teal, whatever you want to call it, with pink accents. I especially love the tutu valance that my sister helped me make. Just 22 yards of tulle! This is my aunt's dresser spruced up a little. Now to Cole's room.
