The first significant snowfall of the season here in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains occurred yesterday, December 7, 2011. Big fat wet snowflakes fell heavily for about an hour and then it was gone. The ground was too warm for it to stick but it was beautiful coming down. HubPages – My articles on all kinds of stuff.
