http://twoheartsofmine.blogspot.com/2012/12/adoption-backstory-referral-medical.html
Two Hearts of Mine. Wednesday, December 19, 2012. Adoption Backstory- Referral Medical Review. How amazing is that! We both would have the same kind of specialist and would go to the same clinic eventually. I had chills when I realized the similarity and it was starting to dawn on me how God can make things "meant to be". More on these chance encounters will follow soon. I can't wait to share it. December 20, 2012 at 1:41 PM. I just LOVE your posts! I just love how God writes our stories! The Post You...

Monday, March 25, 2013. A Week With Friends. Over this past weekend, I have been grudgingly trekking down my very own Mount Everest. I had a good reason. I had spent the week before with some other fellow adoptive moms who have or are in the process of adopting children from Ind*a. We stayed up way past curfew, ate dozens of cookies, skipped the carrots, and drank a few too many Diet Cokes. I don't even like Diet Coke. We talked about adoption, adoption, and adoption, and nobody cared. Ind*a adoptions ac...

Our India Adoption Journey. Two Months, a Birthday, and Tee Ball. We have been home now for two months as of yesterday. I guess somewhere between week 6-8 English just erupted ten-fold. We now have many complete sentences such as “Can I try? 8221;, “Arabelle pushed me”, “Are you ok? 8221;, and her go-to when she has nothing else to say “What are you doing? Sunday was Anjali’s 3rd birthday! She was so excited. For about 5 days all we heard was “Anju Happy Birthday? Pictures of all of the above below….

Two Hearts of Mine. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Backstory- Post Referral Process- Part 1. Here are some of the basic forms on the US end that are required:. USCIS determines if the family is suitable to adopt a child within the parameters indicated by the home study. Supplement 3 to i-800A. Saturday, March 22, 2014. How we're doing after two months. Yikes - I haven't posted for a whole month! I guess that tells you a little bit about how things are going . . . I feel like I rarely have two hands free to type on our laptop. We finally had a day warm enough to play outside. Dry bathing - everyone needs a hobby, right? This continues to be one area of difficulty. She is extremely picky about food, and still seems to be controlling all the newness by refusing lots of food. Or she might ...About...

india to appleton: May 2014

Saturday, May 10, 2014. We don't have any photos of our girls' first mothers. We will likely never have the chance to communicate with them either. But we are so indebted to them for the gift of our daughters. In the complex swirl of factors that cause a woman to make an agonizing, heart-rending choice, somehow we have ended up as the beneficiaries of their difficult or painful circumstances. I think of Pinki, the young ayah who cried as we prepared to take Anya Rashi away from the orphanage. And of ...

Monday, July 14, 2014. Your last night as a two-year-old! On this, your last night as a two-year-old, there are many things on my mind. I wish we hadn't missed out on so much of your life so far, even while I'm grateful for all the moments of the past 6 months. And I'm even more grateful that we get to spend this birthday with you! Here is a snapshot of life with you:. Your hair is longer, and your curls are extra fluffy in these humid months. Your favorite books are The Snowy Day, Kipper's Color and Num...
