Monday, October 01, 2012. Kill the escarpment highway? If so, what are the alternatives. There is a campaign to kill the escarpment highway. The conduit to get people from outlying areas to work. Part of the highway project is to get people from the Niagara Region into places like Kitchener/Waterloo and Guelph which currently you must rely heavily on Highway 6. For those who have taken that commute, its really slow. Lots of wasted fuel which is also bad for the environment. Go Transit - This Crazy Train.

I was on the delayed Lakeshore West train that was scheduled to leave Burlington station at 7:13 am. As we boarded the train they mentioned the train behind us and understandably to save on Service Guarantee cost they let it pass us.
