The library is a great place to volunteer. Those that have a regular shift in the Book Store find that they develop relationships with their customers who often come back time after time to find bargains or treasures. Super Saturdays | Friends of the Hilton Head Library

Are appropriate for all children ages 4 to 8. We look for educational entertainment that allows children to participate and enjoy by doing. Are on the 2. Saturday of the month from January through March. They begin at 11 am and run about an hour. At the end of the program, prizes are raffled off, and the families enjoy some refreshments. Tickets are FREE and are available at the Hilton Head Library at 10:00 am the day of the performance. The program begins at 11:00 am and approximately one hour long.

The annual Volunteer Luncheon. Is hosted by the Friends Board to thank all those who help in the library and volunteer in the Book Store. After a delicious lunch at the library, a local author or a community leader provides the entertainment.
