Day to day activities of a Dba. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. ORA-10567: Redo is inconsistent with data block. After doing a restore on the production DB,I observed that although the archive logs were being successfully transferred to the standby Db,they were not being applied. This was because the file on the Production DB blocks had changed after the restoration. In other to have an idea of what was happening ,I enabled recovery mode excluding the ‘disconnect from session’ clause. Check the v$archived log.
