May 8, 2015. I made a card for a friend for Mother's Day, and just wanted to share. I've pared down my stash considerably. In the last few months, but I've held onto the sets I love most. One of those is Fresh Cut Florals from Wplus9. Adore it. Always have, always will. The sentiment is a combination of Everyday Happiness and Year Round Happiness, both from Papertrey. Nov 20, 2010. Everything But the Kitchen Sink challenge #27. I loved this go-round's sketch for the Everything But the Kitchen Sink challenge. It's so. different. To start this card I pulled out my beloved stripe stamp from PTI's Background Basics: Retro set and stamped a grid on my cardstock base. Of course, then I proceeded to cover up most of it (ha! And speaking of gingerbread. I finally tried the Gingerbread Latte at Starbucks. So good! Cardstock: PTI (white, kraft, pure poppy). This is SO cute!

Dec 7, 2010. Everything But the Kitchen Sink FINAL challenge. Big sad face here. Everything But the Kitchen Sink. Is hosting their last challenge. Send them out with a bang and play along! This time, the challenge is to make a card oozing with texture. For mine, I dry embossed the base with a woodgrain background. Added a glittery and very texture-y ribbon across the front, and stuck on a felt sticker for one more bit of texture. I'm keeping it simple these days - have to get these cards out the door!
