A South African in Yellowknife. Wednesday, January 31, 2007. I just went through a whole pile of pictures that Dad copied onto my computer when they were here, of all their travels and things since I last saw them. So not only am I feeling quite homesick, now I need a gajillion dollars to travel with (and never work unless it's for fun! Anyway, I just picked two pictures from when they went to Namibia, I think in 2004. The donkey cart one makes me laugh! Posted by Nanook at 23:24. There's actually not mu...

A South African in Yellowknife. Saturday, March 31, 2007. The people I fly with. We got together for a picture of all the people who are Dash 7 crew. There's only one flight attendant missing, and a Dash rampie is on vacation, everyone else made it. We also invited the Maintenance guys, but they picked that time to do engine runs, so we couldn't wait anymore. Posted by Nanook at 21:53. Friday, March 30, 2007. An article about Yellowknife. http://reluctantriter.blogspot.com/2010/08/greetings-no-salutations.html
Saturday, August 28, 2010. Greetings . No Salutations. We've not had much summer weather this summer and the pundits are calling for a longer, colder winter. Too soon there will ice and snow to deal with on the drive to work. Where are my lottery winnings? Sounds like "The Secret" to me! The cats extend their greetings to the world, Precious busy being "precious" and Spook? Well her attitude is evidence by her picture . oh wait there is not picture! Friday, December 29, 2006. Things I liked about exercising:. I LOVE my ipod. I enjoy the quiet when few people are there. The shower after a hard workout is a joy to behold my shower at home may be prettier but there is no show quite so enjoyable as one after a strenuous workout. I enjoy fresh towels which actually cover me, unlike the ones they had originally, no doubt designed for the severely anorexic or exhibitionist. And he was most accommodating regarding this request and seemed somewhat surprised.

A South African in Yellowknife. Monday, October 30, 2006. These are some pictures of Thanksgiving from Jack, I didn't take any myself. They're all of the kids, no one got a picture of the turkey! Posted by Nanook at 10:46. Wednesday, October 18, 2006. Our other road trip. The people we had on the plane were mostly people with kids, or health problems that they wanted to get out of the smoke, so it made for some interesting flights, usually the kids outnumbered the adults. At one point we had 58 peopl...

A South African in Yellowknife. Wednesday, November 22, 2006. Happy birthday to me. Woke up this morning to -27. Okay, so maybe Mike got up to that and I stayed in bed, I just happened to get today off. Didn't do too much during the day at all, but Mike took me for a very nice dinner at Diamante, where he had flowers waiting on the table. The waitress wrote Happy Anniversary on the bill! Here's the lovely song that I got from Elisabeth, my niece who just turned seven. Dear noelene and mikle. I can watch ...

Meaning "small" when used in a phrase by my Piperencino. June 29, 2007. I know she probably didn't mean it in a rude way but why is a mom who stays at home all day luckier than the one who gets to go to work 3000feet off the ground? We all know I'm not going to work for the money! I want to be there for my kids but I'm not giving myself up, not all of it. I can't do it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.
