http://tummytroubles.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
An ulcerative colitis err make that Crohn's story.with graphic tummy troubles in places. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Tummy Troubles and BlogHer. I have blogged about attending BlogHer before and my tummy trouble anxieties related to attendance. I wasn't going to do it again. My daily life is packed more than usual lately. (House guests, my mother lives with me now, uh LIFE). But then the Queen of Spain, one of my daughter's heroes posted this: Spilling My Guts. I may look like "death warmed over" even when...

An ulcerative colitis err make that Crohn's story.with graphic tummy troubles in places. Sunday, September 20, 2009. My tummy troubles have been problematic in the past week. Not the trips to the bathroom, those have been few. Instead it is a growling, burning pain. Sigh. I don't have time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bag of Health and Politics. Tummy Troubles: So an Update
http://tummytroubles.blogspot.com/2008/03/so-update.html
An ulcerative colitis err make that Crohn's story.with graphic tummy troubles in places. Sunday, March 02, 2008. I have a horrid cold. I have had it for a week. I thought it was going away but it didn't. I would grumble about insurance companies that require mail order scripts and the problem with dealing with the morons who work there (who sent the WRONG script unless of course the GI doctor would like to kill me off with the dosage) but I have this cold. Blah. I came across your blog and wanted to tell...

Tea & Jelly Babies: Insufficient vocabulary
http://teaandjellybabies.blogspot.com/2012/05/insufficient-vocabulary.html
Tea and Jelly Babies. My life - my colon my stoma. Tuesday, 15 May 2012. My Inflammatory Bowel Disease has led to my learning lots of new vocabulary - mostly medical terminology - but this morning, I found myself in the awkward position of trying to work out how to tell my boss that, "I haven't called in yet, because my rectal stump is causing me problems.". However, I watched a few wonderful videos from http:/ www.girls-with-guts.com/. And had a good chuckle. Those girls are great! Labels: blogs I read.

Tea & Jelly Babies: The rest of my life
http://teaandjellybabies.blogspot.com/2011/08/rest-of-my-life.html
Tea and Jelly Babies. My life - my colon my stoma. Tuesday, 30 August 2011. The rest of my life. Then, this afternoon, whilst I was walking home from work, I was mid-prayer, mid-contemplation, when a mental image of my parents came into my head. They were definitely my parents, but they were younger than I've ever seen them, and I was focusing on my dad. Another hurdle that I'm already dreading having to face. To worry about what if the disease returned, what about complications, what if? Im a Maths grad...

Tea & Jelly Babies: Today I need to change my bag...
http://teaandjellybabies.blogspot.com/2012/04/today-i-need-to-change-my-bag.html
Tea and Jelly Babies. My life - my colon my stoma. Sunday, 22 April 2012. Today I need to change my bag. But I really don't want to. It sounds like such a stupid, teenage frame of mind to have, but I just can't be bothered! But I know I have to. After all, I'm a grown-up; surely it shouldn't be so difficult? Deary me. I'm such a big kid sometimes! Heads off to the bathroom*. PS I apologise for this pointless post. :). 13 May 2012 at 02:18. 15 May 2012 at 18:38. How are you doing? In April 2011, I had eme...

Tea & Jelly Babies: Managing sleep
http://teaandjellybabies.blogspot.com/2012/09/managing-sleep.html
Tea and Jelly Babies. My life - my colon my stoma. Thursday, 20 September 2012. I haven't posted in a while, but this is largely due to the fact that very little has changed with either my stoma or my lifestyle. Generally, things have been great: I'm back at work full-time, I don't have much trouble with food, and my stoma is now thoroughly normal. Unfortunately, one thing that hasn't gotten back to normal is my sleeping pattern. A lot of the forums and websites that I looked at seemed to say that it was...

Tea & Jelly Babies: One year on
http://teaandjellybabies.blogspot.com/2012/04/one-year-on.html
Tea and Jelly Babies. My life - my colon my stoma. Tuesday, 10 April 2012. This morning, I tidied out the box that I keep my ostomy supplies in and - rather appropriately - stumbled across my hospital discharge note, which detailed what happened this time last year. I thought I'd post it, just so that I don't lose sight of how poorly I was and how grateful I should be for my health. Diarrhoea, Abdominal pain. IVI, Analgesia (pain relief). Fentanyl PCA (like morphine). Drug regimen on discharge:. Im a Mat...
