Turning my curveball into a home run! It's been 19 weeks since my surgery and 5 weeks since I finished radiation. I am much, much better. My hair is growing.I need to actually comb it now! Saturday, December 24, 2011. 2 down, 6 to go! It's bad, so bad. But, it could be so much worse! I didn't prepare myself for how painful losing my hair would be. The first round made my hair follicles tingly, but this time each follicle was on fire! Not the greatest look. Thank you Dr. Lewis for highly recommending the port-a-cath! My Whole Food Life.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Going, Going, Gone! Wednesday, April 28, 2010. One good and one bad. Last night Critter had mac and cheese for dinner. I started scooping it onto his tray and found a hair! Gross they served us hairy mac and cheese! I am awful at cutting hair)! We will have to have a head shaving party soon. On the bright side.(literally) we changed rooms! Last night I watched a man and his daughter that was probably 8 or 9 years old run in and out of the water feature in front stealing the money!

Sunday, May 30, 2010. What a week we have had. We didn't even do anything and that's what makes it so good. We have finished our chemo and are playing the waiting game now. Today his ANC was at 0 which is right where we want to be. We also have been able to keep his line intact all week.YEAH! All and all we have had a pretty good week. Thursday, May 27, 2010. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Well it's time for round 4! After that we went to clinic where he despises the paper on the exam table. He always destroys this before we even see anyone.
