A collection of poems I wrote.=)-. Oh Allah, I wish to die. Oh Allah, I wish to die. I wish to die. When I watch this world. I am in agony. Longing to be somewhere else. As if my heart is not here. My body, my mind. Is living for the sake of living. Eating for the sake of eating. More felt than know I that. I yearn for something more. Something I know I can never reach here. I ache to be truly home. I eat delicious foods you provide us. And I praise You for Your masterpieces. I sing with the catchy tunes.

A collection of poems I wrote.=)-. I have a dream. I have a dream.*. To spend a year of my life dedicated to learning the Arabic language. To take a detour from my planned route. And hitchhike to an Arab country. Probably somewhere in West Africa. Have never thought about West Africa before. But definitely inspired by Hamza Yusuf. If the region can produce such an intelligent man like him. Maybe it can make something out of me. I say it is a 'detour' now. But I'm quite sure that nothing in life is as such.

Coz nothing actually belongs to me you know. And sometimes the word "my" opens up too much dimensions. Once you put "my" there, it's like people are getting to know you. So it gets a bit scary. A journey through books. My book reviews =)-. Friday, October 8, 2010. Tazkiyatun Nafs by Said Hawwa. I just read this book recently by Said Hawwa. Here's a picture and link for the Indonesian version. I'm sure there's an English version somewhere, so for English-speaking people, try to find it out. At the moment, I've gotten through the chapter on Solat. And after finishing that chapter, I understand Solat. I totally recommend this book to anyone who's serious in being a Muslim. A more personal side.

The idea of paying 10 bucks for two hours of puristic entertainment in the dark. For a Muslim, this does not make sense. There's that idea of first of all paying for mere entertainment. And its not just in sen, but in ringgit. It's a lot of money to be spending on entertainment. Hmit's baffling for me. odd.

And I get sick of the same old thing. What is the problem with people? Can't they see beyond the groups and the methods and strategies and faces. Just do it already. make it happen.
