Every years in the St. John day (June 24th), all the Portwine cellars, went in a race with the old "rabelo" boats ( sometimes presidents and directors of each cellar also made part of the crew), that were the old transportation for the portwine barrels, from the Douro Valley untill Vila Nova de Gaia,. I´m sorry because during the holidays I didn´t have the opportunity to continue with my posts, mostly because I don´t have a laptop, but now I realise that I must buy one, otherwise it will be very difficult passing two entire weeks without internet. Unfortunately the main drink is beer, lots of cocktails, of course that you have nice wine. but portwine only the worst and in a isolated ocasion.
