Maandag 14 januari 2013. THE VILLAGE OF HAWK RUN HOLLOW. Vandaag wil ik beginnen met het aan elkaar naaien van ten minste een rij van de klosjesquilt. De afgelopen dagen waren rommelig en dan is het ook fijn weer een vertrouwd borduurwerk op te pakken. Al is het wel priegelig, ik heb een goede lamp nodig. Donderdag 10 januari 2013. DE KLOSJES ZIJN KLAAR - ENOUGH SPOOL-BLOCKS! De doos met stofjes van m'n schoonmoeder leverde de stofjes voor de laatste klosjes die nog gemaakt moesten worden. Beetje treurig zo'n doos, dat moet eigenlijk beter worden uitgezocht. Voor 6 klosjes had ik een 'nieuw' basisstofje nodig, die haalde ik uit m'n voorraad. Zondag 20 januari 2013. Ineens besloot ik: het is mooi geweest. Tijd om de stekker eruit te trekken. Om verschillende redenen, maar de belangrijkste is toch wel dat ik er weinig plezier meer in heb. Heel plezierig vind ik de contacten die er zijn ontstaan, maar dat biedt niet genoeg tegenwicht voor alle tijd en energie die het vraagt. In september ben ik heel bewust dagelijks gaan bloggen, om te kijken of dat voor mij iets zou veranderen, na jaren een of twee keer per week een bericht geplaatst te hebben.
