Lessons Learned as an Urban School educator. 9) Sad Sad People. On the other hand, to most of her students, Mrs. Prentiss was an abusive monster. I remember a time when a male student was left standing, and by the end of the day was moving his legs from side to side indicating that he needed to use the restroom. I have completed my undergraduate studies.finally! It took a while for me to do it, but I did it. I feel like I am on top of the world, as cliche as that sounds.
