I looked at my Champix packet this morning and realised that there are a few times I’ve forgotten to take it. Oops! People have asked, "If you're doing so well, can you just stop the Champix? My doctor told me that i had to register with Quit-line before i started the champix, so i did. They asked me what day i was going to quit and i started stressing out, thinking "What if i dont quit in that time, what if the medication doesnt work, have i wasted my time and money? Champix - Time to quit. My quit smoking/ champix diary. Thursday, August 14, 2008. Day 11 - Champix is working well! Just a quick one today i think. One of the conditions of getting a prescription to champix is to register with the quit line. I had my 'scheduled call back yesterday', they were impressed with my progress. On a previous attempt to quit about 3 years ago, i had many 'slip up's' in the first month it wasn’t funny, which they kindly reminded me about! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Champix - Time to quit. My quit smoking/ champix diary. Sunday, August 10, 2008. End of day 7. This stuff is amazing. Even after a big night drinking, well two big nights, I'm. Still not tempted to smoke. AND I've been smoke free for 3 days now! Tomorrow i start on the big dosage. 2mg per day, the little blue tablets, should be interesting. My guess is that i will feel more repulsed by the smell of cigarette smoke. Want, so i gave them to him and told him to enjoy them! Here's to another good week :).

Champix - Time to quit. My quit smoking/ champix diary. Friday, August 29, 2008. I didnt think that i would make it, but i did! 4 Weeks, well, just about anyway, on Champix. I thought it would be a little more difficult than this. I still have my moments, but its getting easier as each day goes by to avoid temptation to smoke. Contrary to my experiences via other methods, by this stage i'm doing ok, but would really love to have a cigarette by now! Luckily this time it’s the opposite. Day 13, i think!
