A dream becomes reality. A lot of people were convinced we were crazy (which still might be true) but you all made a crazy idea work. Now I'll let you in on all the secrets of how we did this, which isn't really much of a secret at all. When I was tossing around the idea of crowdfunding a marathon, my friend John R. sent me a link called Hacking Kickstarter: How to Raise $100,000 in 10 Days. Essentially a huge mountain of work. We are the first marathon in history to be started through crowdfunding.
