The bengali spice paanch phoran gives it an amazing flavour. When I moved to Dubai after my wedding I made sure to carry paanch phoran in my luggage. Let me go ahead with the recipe now. 550 gms kaddu/pumpkin- seeds removed, skin peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces. 2 red dry chillies. Cover and cook on low heat.

Note: if you like extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients – pour half over the chicken and follow the recipe instructions; pour the other half in a small saucepan and cook the sauce on the stovetop at a simmer for 8-10 minutes until it reduces and thickens. Serve it on the side of the chicken. 2 large eggs, beaten. 3/4 cup granulated sugar.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies. 1/2 c packed brown sugar. 1/2 c butter, room temperature. 1/2 c peanut butter. 1 1/4 c flour. 3/4 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 4 oz sweet chocolate, chunked. Directions: Cream the butter for 2 minutes. Add the sugars, cream for 2 more minutes. Mix in the peanut butter and egg. Mix together the dry ingredients - flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture. Add chocolate chunks. 2 qt glass jar with closing lid. 1 3/4 c sugar.
