The Sharp Family Update. Monday, November 24, 2008. We decided to go to Bastrop, TX to visit Russ' family. The only weekend that worked was Halloween. Russell worked half the day on Thursday and we picked Charles up at Kids Day Inn and were on our way out of town at 1:30 pm. There was actually a break in the traffic so we could cross the Interstate and pull over on the other shoulder, out of harms way. Thankfully the rest of the weekend was uneventful! The Sharp Family Update. Thursday, May 28, 2009. It's been a while. We've had a busy spring. It all began with a broken ankle! Our friends the Marks came to visit us the next week. They were moving from Phoenix to the Washington DC area. Charles had fun playing with Mary Kate. Imie IV and Micah found each other fascinating as well! It was a chilly day, but we went to the new play area at the Sedgwick County park. Then we warmed up with Mexican Food! Isn't this an interesting swing? Charles likes to climb!

Last week it was a tent made out of blankets and dining room chairs. Last night it was a ride.see for yourself! We've recovered from Thanksgiving.not on the scale, but otherwise we're back to normal! My dad's family, the Goentzels, descended on Wichita and we hosted 50 people for the big day.and weekend. Now it's time for Christmas. I can hardly wait!
