By Stan Moore - August 9, 2003. The trebuchet is a medieval engine of war used during the siege of a castle to knock down its walls. They were huge machines in which the beam (throwing arm) was often a whole tree trunk, and objects of several hundred pounds were thrown. This trebuchet is designed for the more modest goal of launching golfballs, and can be disassembled for storage and transport. Diagram from Trebuchet Simulator by. Donald B. Siano. Grandpa told my dad that it was an excellent bargain - the tools alone were worth the price, and that he should buy it for me. The lathe was made by W. F. and John Barnes Co., in Rockford, Illinois, U.S.A, sometime after 1880. It still uses the flat belts,. But the power shaft is now. Turned by an electric motor.

It is a small submarine normally deployed in the ocean at Point Lobos State Park that can be operated over the internet from a PC anywhere in the world. It is primarily intended for use by school children in their classrooms. They can control its movement in three dimensions, and view images from its video camera in near real-time.
