To try to overturn a town meeting vote to ban leaf blowers, but they were up against a 20 percent minimum voter turnout even before a suspected microburst filled the town with the sound of chainsaws. #NotFictionButFact. Adding local referendums to the idea list for a future Town Hall mystery. I once covered a special election to overturn a ban on feeding the ducks at a local pond.
