Thursday, February 19. So I will have to tell two stories here to get to the point of the post. 1 - I have been looking for a local mommy group to join for about a week now. I finally found New Mommies of South Charlotte Playgroup 2 days ago and promptly joined. The first event I could attend is scheduled for tonight, a Mommy's Night Out! We are meeting at Mr. Food no-Fuss Meals and we are having a food and wine tasting AND we get to bring home an entree all for $10! I'm sure they will love you. :).

Monday, February 16. Also she did have an ear infection again. We are finally on Augmentin and are seeing a big difference this time around. She is sleeping well at night and napping well. Tuesday, February 17. What do you guys think? You can't really see my color because I took this in my bathroom and the light stinks. Look how pretty you two look! I can see a little of your color! Did you get some highlights? Your daughter looks like you! You both look great! You do much better at taking pics of yourself than I do - I always come out looking weird! I like your new haircut! You took a pretty good picture of yourself! Nothing like the feeling you get from having your hair done.

Wednesday, February 11. The other morning in her crib, Erin was singing "Sue-pah Leah" (SuperLeah after Super Why! Erin runs up to you when you are standing up, hugs your legs and says, "Hi Mommy." So freaking adorable. This morning I sneezed and Erin said, "Bess you, Mommy" and then repeated it when I asked, "What did you say? Thursday, February 5. Night of the Living Dead. As I am sure you can ascertain from my last post, last night was straight from hell. Leah woke up coughing at like 9pm, but she fell back asleep before I could get back upstairs with her warm juice. Then at 1:30 Erin woke up throwing up (BAD, all over her bed and onto the floor. Her room reeked of vomit all night) and continued to throw up every 1/2 hour until 4:30. At 4:45 just when I was dosing back off for the first time. I want a nap! Erin at 18 months.

Wednesday, February 11. It's like having a newborn. For some reason, for the last month I have not slept through the night. Almost every night, one kid or the other wakes up and needs something. Last night it was both of them an hour apart. And then on the nights that no one wakes up, I can't sleep. I wake up every hour it seems like. It is getting beyond frustrating. Sunday, February 15. So, you guys, Stacy and I went to the Raleigh Regional. I, too, was a guard junkie. Fall and Winter all four years of high school. You're right - so bittersweet. I was burned out by the end of my senior year, but it was still sad to know it was done. Another guard junkie here.I was in colorguard/winterguard for all 4years of high school plus colorguard for two years at UF.
