My Route to the Flight Deck. Weeks 55 to 65 – Instrument Rating & UPRT. October 27, 2016. October 27, 2016. After 2 weeks off from flying catching up with friends and family it was back to it at CTC’s training centre at Bournemouth for this 10 week stage. The facilities here include multiple briefing rooms, 6 Diamond DA42 aircraft plus a further 3 simulators and 2 Slingsby Firefly aircraft. G-CTCC on final approach at Bournemouth. CTC Bournemouth (First two small green hangers just to the right of centre).
