Especially when we are actually talking about other nations and not just our own. I know I am guilty of not thinking of it near enough.but man has it hit me full force. Sunday, July 12, 2009. We went to Buda to celebrate the 4th of July with Melissa's parents. They are always so good to us and cherish their family! They had a slip-n-slide for the kids which they loved - especially Lucy. We had yummy food (the corn tasted sooo yummy and reminded me of the garden corn we used to have when I was a kid:), and then enjoyed the fireworks! That was waaaay too much fun lighting that match. LOL! Macy is getting sooo big - love those thighs! I cant believe Ls hair is that long!

Monday, July 27, 2009. A few hours ago, my mom, Brinton, Lucy and my niece, Nikki, pulled out of our driveway headed to Marshall! What have I done? Lucy never shed a tear or even looked worried at all. She kept saying, bye momma, bye daddy, bye Macy and was just a smiling. They were both ready to go! Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Well, Macy is punctual! She arrived Monday, January 12, which was her due date! I started having minor contractions that morning. Summer came over and took care of Brinton and Lucy. When we got to the hospital I kept having contractions, but after a while they slowed down - what! So they started potossin (sp? Monday, April 6, 2009. Look at me - I'm holding an "addigator". She didn't want Devan to help her - she said "I do it, I do it! But she never got upset:). Tuesday, October 28, 2008. We went camping as a family for the first time this weekend! So glad we got to experience this with some GREAT friends!
