Friday, September 20, 2013. Time to get back to work. My hiatus from quilting is over. Nursing school is done, NCLEX-PN taken, and I am employed. So, it's time to go back to what I love to do.quilting! Since I blogged last, we have moved to a bigger house. My quilting stuff is now in the garage with it's own workbench! I am having to share the garage with Hollywood and his guitar stuff. But I don't mind, I'm just so happy he's home. Graduated this past June with honors! The Dyl Pickle is a Weblos II cubs...

Purse pattern was from Kumiko Sudo's Omiyage. Had to change the pattern a bit to make the purse. Hat is made from different shaped pieces of Peacock Gold and the coordinating green fabric (from the challenge collection). Face mold is my own one of a kind mold. The pattern is also mine. Thread Holder All Done! Thread holder is finished! Love this 2014 Hoffman Challenge fabric (for a change! It isn't the main fabric and maybe that is the reason I like it :-). Still here but life has gotten a bit crazy. On July 29, 2016 in Daily Life. Ever feel like the proverbial headless chicken? It seems like Ive been running around like that chicken with its head cut off . lots of movement but not much to show for it. I have been getting more quilts in to my longarm quilting business, The Quilted Lemon. So thats been wonderful! Look for quilt pictures from the last PIQF show . Ill post them on Monday.
