My Second 50 Years. The Older and Wiser Half of Life. New Member of the Family. September 13, 2008. Dad feeds his new baby. There’s a new kid on the block. Or at least on the farm. Dad has been gifted with a new calf. Given to him by the man that mows his hay, this new family member could be considered a special needs calf. She has severe pink-eye. It seems to have blinded her. Dad got some medicine from the vet and we gave her a shot. Hopefully this will help restore her site. Time will tell.
