The trickiest part of this hike is staying on the trail but you know where you are going so that’s the direction you follow. On the saddle you can see into Oak Creek Canyon. Midgely bridge is right below you. Great vistas toward Thunder Mountain, Ship rock and Wilson Mountain. Another great place to chill out, meditate, or catch a few zzzzzzz’s.

Once you find the beginning of the trail, you should have no problem. You will start to wind your way up the side of the canyon. You will be able to see your destination under an overhang above you. There is an official Forest Service posting before you climb to the ruins. There is a $250,000 fine for defacing, destroying, or taking. This entry was posted in Hiking.

I may or may not decide to post pictures of earlier happenings later on, but right now I don't feel like catching up.
