Myself to the metal. Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Generally being one who is eager and impulsive, i’ve learned that sometimes feeling the need to make the most of every moment can completely blind my ability to do so. The 3 days before i arrived in j-tree were some of the most amazing in my entire life. (the “in my entire life” is becoming a very regular phrase these days). At least that’s what i felt like…. Not to say that planning ahead isn’t entirely necessary in many situations. Not a soul around.

Myself to the metal. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. After a lonesome and spider-filled 2 months…. the miracle i’ve been praying for has finally happened…. A new cling has arrived in my cabin! I mean… pardon me…. his name is slink. He’s sleek and sassy. I love him already. Okay, i’m easy… but still). The first interaction was startling – i caught him snoozing on my sweatshirt stack, and he wasn’t expecting to meet me so suddenly. It was a beautiful and long moment. It pretty much feels like a total rebirth.

Today I am…. Running for the Emer Casey Foundation (in affiliation with Peter Mac). The Emer Casey Foundation. Or that the ovals turned into a sort of sand pit on one side? Certainly not me; I tend to only occupy 4 buildings on campus, and all of them within 100m of each other. I succeeded in that.
