Sunday, 1 January 2017. As ever, I feel so blessed/fortunate/lucky for my life. Christmas always makes me feel those things just a little stronger. We were surrounded by our healthy beautiful family, ate wonderful meals and were spoiled. There isn't much more that needs to be said. My heart is full and I'm so grateful. Thursday, 14 April 2016. Last weekend we headed to Tofino. For a couple of nights to help an old friend celebrate 40. We met up in Qualicum at Island Surf. To rent wet suits and surfboards then made a pit stop in Port Alberni before carrying on the long and windy road to Tofino. Neil and I were last there we think about 23 years ago so it all felt completely new to us. I forgot how seriously AMAZING the trees are as you drive through Cathedral Grove. We stayed in a HUGE house right on Chesterman Beach.
