The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. The cats are now in their seventh week (I. I've kinda lost count) and are getting to be disgustingly, vomit-inducingly cute. I want to love them and hug them and call them George. But alas, I call them Bubba, Sissy and Paw. About 1 week old. About 4 weeks old. Sissy, discovering her shadow. Posted by Denise at 2:10 PM. Got a new place at the beginning of the month Shan and I are now the proud owners of our own 2-bedroom apartment each. Wahooie! Ramadan is almost...

The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. Our governmental institutions, hard at work. (or, Why me? Living out of the country for the last several years, it has been fairly easy to ignore certain pains-in-my-ass that I should have dealt with a long time ago but haven’t. I won’t be in Van Nuys anywhere in the foreseeable future. Thus the possibility of a warrant for my arrest. Ha ha ha. Anyways, I gotta make long-distance-from-Morocco phone calls to sort that crap out. Posted by Denise at 2:04 PM. Yeah, ...

The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. I am guilty. I have been a counter of chickens. When whispers of a possibility hinted there might be a slight chance Shan could be coming to Morocco, if the circumstances presented themselves in a way that might allow that to happen, I GOT MY HOPES UP. It worked for a change and Shan's comin' over, BABY! Posted by Denise at 7:17 PM. That's MUTTON, Baby! I couldn't help feeling sorry for the poor sheep. You could tell they knew what was in store for them....Then ...

The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. Srakazit (an old post I forgot to post, but still find amusing). Shan and I made the mistake of leaving our apartment in the hands of two Moroccan men (our lesser halves) while we were away in Arkansas. Moroccan people, in case you didn't know, are very zen about las cucarachas, believing it's possible for people and las cucarachas to live together in harmony. It's the heat," they say. "Srakazit he live here in the summertime.". Posted by Denise at 1:28 PM.

Diane Thomas-Plunk's fiction www.dianethomasplunk.com. PLUNK GENEALOGY - see "Family" label on this blog and/or write Mike at. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Taste of DeSoto And A Little Poodle. Really? When Mike and I had been married (the first time) only a few months, he came home one day with a small, black, curly, ball of fur - a poodle puppy. We named him Plunk's Pepper Pot and he grew into a good companion and, fortunately, a very un-poodle poodle. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Http:/ www.so...

The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. I'll have a blue (bloooOOOOooowooh) Christmas. Well, I managed to make it through Christmas without having a major breakdown. (Sorry about the teary phone message, Shan! Anyway, am now bracing myself for Aïd Al Adha. Don't have a clue what it's all about, but I know it involves sacrificing a sheep. I think I'll stay in bed that day. Posted by Denise at 8:18 PM. Posted by Denise at 7:59 PM. La Cucaracha - No tengo dinero para gustar. Okay, so putting up my old jo...

The Pan-galactic Gargleblaster of my mind. We went to the Gnaoua World Music Festival. In Essaouira this past weekend. More on that later, but since I haven't blogged in a while I just wanted to quickly post this up. My brother will be interested to see what Moroccan fire trucks look like. I took the photos at night, so they're a little grainy, but you get the idea. Posted by Denise at 10:16 AM. Posted by Denise at 1:32 PM. Break out the cigars. Posted by Denise at 1:27 PM.
