Something Simple: Grandma's Apron
http://mysomethingsimple.blogspot.com/2010/03/grandmas-apron.html
Tuesday, March 9, 2010. The History of an Apron. I don't think our kids know what an apron is. The principal use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven. It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on occastion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears. From the chicken coop, the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven. Grandma ...

Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Oh the life of a student. It's only my fourth day of classes and I have such a crap load. Of work to do. Not impressed. Looks like this professional year is gonna be more work than I expected. This morning in music class I picked up the recorder after a 10 year drought haha. Some day but I am not one. Maybe I'm. Not cut out for this teacher business, or maybe I'm. There will be another post when I have the time haha. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Follow me on Twitter!

Quirky: An Oddity of Behaviour: September 2009
http://quirkychristaleeannball.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Quirky: An Oddity of Behaviour. Ramblings of a quirky girl. Saturday, September 26, 2009. 1 week ago today I was cleaning my house in a frenzy.I couldn't scrub the floors, wash windows or vacuum carpets quickly enough because I knew it was happening but I was in denial. And I wasn't ready, I had 10 days to still prepare for a baby! Around 4-4:30pm Saturday afternoon I went to the washroom and knew things had "changed". I couldn't believe it. Kristen took a photo of me "working" through a contraction.

Something new 52
My goal this year is to try something new- a new recipe and a new activity with my toddler- every week in 2012. Thursday, March 22, 2012. Week 11 Recipe: Garlic brown sugar chicken. This was really tasty. And easy! You can't beat 4 ingredients- chicken, olive oil, garlic and brown sugar. That's it! We had it with brown rice and broccoli. This one will be repeated for sure. Week 11 Activity: Fruit Loop Rainbow. As much as I wish I could say that this is our finished product- it is SO NOT! Got the idea HERE.

My Sometimes Creative Side
My Sometimes Creative Side. Friday, February 5, 2016. This is my February tag of 2016 ( Tim Holtz Blog. Where we were to combine two of Tim Holtz' techniques. I decided to go with the Alice in Wonderland theme. Since I didn't have any embossing paste, I had to improvise and use some texture paste with a sprinkle of magenta embossing powder. The image wasn't as crisp as I had hoped, but I was okay with it. :). Links to this post. Wednesday, March 11, 2015. And Craft for the Craic Bingo. Links to this post.
