Vishal Talreja: September 2013
http://vtalreja.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 12, 2013. Redemption, Seeking my Forgiveness. I didn't do much when I first heard the brutality. I didn't join the protests. Neither did I sign petitions. I prayed for strength to help you get through. I watched in disbelief as the politics unfolded. I went into a shell when friends spoke about it. I shivered and shuddered at the gory details. Shared in magazines and newspapers. I tried to imagine how horrifying it must have been. To go through that night. But it was too painful.

Vishal Talreja: April 2016
http://vtalreja.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 24, 2016. My Own Golden Cage. I started my year with an illness and over the last 3 months have had a spate of health issues. Health issues that have forced me to work from home, work less hours, visit doctors, take medication and reassess my lifestyle. In some sense, it was long coming. She has been urging me to take up a creative practice to heal my soul and my body. I know she is right. Yet, I resist it. I see the impact. I am not working to my potential. My week starts with to-do lists ...

Tuesday, May 12, 2015. Lakshmi - A Tribute. My earliest memory of her is probably when I was very young and I have a faint memory of seeing her outside her one room house in Nagarthpet. It was a Bangalore where the walls between the rich, middle class and the poor merged seamlessly and we all lived together with respect and dignity. Thank you for giving our family the gift of your life. Thank you for taking care of us as children and adults. For ever in gratitude. Links to this post. I am the Co-founder ...

Vishal Talreja: March 2014
http://vtalreja.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 15, 2014. Over the course of 9 days, I had an opportunity to visit, meet and interact with leaders at 6 social enterprises across Delhi, Tilonia and Jaipur and reflect on their work, their values, approach and leadership style. Traveling with a group of 9 other leaders from across countries helped me gain a wider perspective and further refine by own thoughts and understanding. 8220;What is your name? Where are you from? How did you lose your limb? Do you do any work? How much do you earn?

Saturday, April 25, 2015. A Memory, A Legacy Lives On - GM Row. In 1999, when I applied for an International Student Exchange Programme through AIESEC, he was on my interview panel. My first ever interview in life and I was nervous. I distinctly remember he asked me to define Statistics. I went blank. My score of 94 in Statistics didn’t mean anything if I could not even define the subject. He must have seen something else in me. I passed the interview. Links to this post. Vishal Talreja: Lessons for Experiential Learning from Slumdog Millionaire
http://vtalreja.blogspot.com/2010/10/lessons-for-experiential-learning-from.html
Monday, October 18, 2010. Lessons for Experiential Learning from Slumdog Millionaire. Controversies apart, there was one aspect of the movie - Slumdog Millionaire which made me sit up and take notice. The backdrop of "Who wants to be a millionaire" and how each question took the protagonist into certain incidents, experiences and conversations in his past life which gave him the answers. There was the concept of "Experiential Learning" splattered all over this plot. The movie has tremendous learning for ...
