Trying to live while fighting triple-negative metastatic breast cancer. On August 27, 2009 I was diagnosed with Stage 1, grade 3 Triple-Negative breast cancer. I had a supposedly successful lumpectomy, followed by four rounds of Taxotere and Cytoxin chemotherapy and 38 radiation treatments. When I finished treatments in February 2010, the doctors told me I was cancer free and sent me on my way with regular six month check ups. The Metastatic Breast Cancer Ribbon.
