Steroids are for suckers. Ditching topical steroids and documenting my journey through the withdrawal process that follows. My Current Methods of Comfort. I hope you like my “It’s Raining Skin” picture. If you don’t, well then that’s a problem, because it is definitely raining skin flakes over here. I am so flaky! Better than oozing though I guess. Ice packs and ice baths. Cotton gloves (tight fitting). Moisturizer, or the lack thereof. Essentially this is diaper rash cream, but I use this one here.

Week 9 | steroids are for suckers
https://steroidsareforsuckers.wordpress.com/2014/07/21/week-9
Steroids are for suckers. Ditching topical steroids and documenting my journey through the withdrawal process that follows. Come Monday, I woke up looking like a red blimp, but by the end of the day much of the swelling had gone down and I honestly thought I was looking like me again. Just a crusty, flaky type of me.
