http://deadlyletters.blogspot.com/2010/05/e-readers-digital-books.html
Saturday, May 15, 2010. E-Readers and Digital Books. The topic of Kindle and Kobo and all sorts of digital book platforms has been all over the news the last while. I understand that there is something of a revolution in the book world and that there are many fears (valid and reactionary and everything in between) about the future of the publishing industry. What I am wondering about is adoption: How quickly are people picking up Kindle and other similar electronic book gadgets? May 15, 2010 at 8:46 AM.

Deadly Letters: Self Pub?
http://deadlyletters.blogspot.com/2010/12/self-pub.html
Friday, December 3, 2010. Just curious if any of you know of any authors who shifted from "traditional" publishing to self publishing? It seems like there are several advantages to self publishing, yet, there is a bit of a stigma to it. As well, with self publishing, it can be difficult to have the book reviewed or carried in libraries. However, if you self publish, you retain control. Can you mention any authors who moved away from a publisher to go out on their own? December 3, 2010 at 9:13 AM. Mysteri...

http://dianahockley.blogspot.com/2015/03/zellwood-dog-story-by-rebecca-stroud.html
Wednesday, 25 March 2015. ZELLWOOD: A Dog Story by Rebecca Stroud. The information accompanying this story was quite clear that this is a short story, so those who lambasted the author because this was not a full length book were not paying attention to what they were buying. Friday, 21 March 2014. Review: THE CRUELLEST MONTH by Janet Mary Tomson. By Janet Mary Tomson. My rating: 4 of 5 stars. Grace Harrison, almost sixty, finally buries her demanding, emotionally blackmailing mother at 98, and feels guilty because she is so relieved. One of the three - the son of the erstwhile first boyfriend - comes to England to have a holiday and his father requests Grace to give him a place to stay and entertain him on the isle of Wight. Diana Hockley: November 2014
http://dianahockley.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, 22 November 2014. Review: ECLIPSE LAKE by Mae Clair. ECLIPSE LAKE by MAE CLAIR. My rating: 5 of 5 stars. Firstly, I chose to read this book on the Masquerade Crew list because the cover is so elegant and peaceful! However, I was amazed and delighted by the plot - nothing like the cover. The author's skill ensures that this story is a "cut above" the norm, being well written and presented. An aspect of this novel that I particularly liked was the depth of the characters. Dane, Jesse, Ellie a...
