http://iamthelazlow.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
The Device Has A New Home. Please Update Your Bookmarks. If IDM were poetry, than Kelpe. Is Kelpe's debut and it holds it's own among the top tier of electronic music. One more special thing, the album art is stunning and represents the noetic qualities of the music. I would not do the cover justice by posting a small image here but you can check it out at Kelpe's website. Posted by Cory at 1:50 AM. More like I was being pushed over by Berlin's own Ulrich Schnauss. Getting Closer To An Unknown Goal.

The Device Has A New Home. Please Update Your Bookmarks. I thought I lost that'. So from the mess of forgotten treasure, and the so bittersweet utterance of "I thought I lost that! Makes up 1/3 of the formentioned band Figurine. Who blend up technoculture, and counter culture. They capture the immediacy of the outside world, and technology with old synths and drum machines, with a charm and an esteemed sense of presentation. It kind of seems like your being led on but your not; it's nice. I think you're ...

http://iamthelazlow.blogspot.com/2005/07/beck-and-ramsey-lewis.html
The Device Has A New Home. Please Update Your Bookmarks. Beck and Ramsey Lewis. Okay So Check It; I am not the biggest Beck. Fan in the world but I do listen, and like most of what I hear. So what I am about to say might be obvious to those more devoted Beck lovers. I was listening to Midnite Vultures. In particular the song, Debra, and I noticed it sounded so familiar especially the base line. Then, it dawned on me. Ramsey Lewis. So, well, just listen for your self. My Love For You.mp3. Thursday, April 21, 2005. Crackle and Pop 2. The Small Faces have sometimes been overlooked as one of the premier mod bands of the sixties, but they have been given their dues in this recent NME Originals on Mods. For all things mod visit here. After The Who they were my favourite mod band and were a particular favourite of teenage girls everywhere due to there boyish good looks. (Steve Marriots trademark centre parting. Thursday, March 31, 2005. Crackle and Pop 1. Its autumn 1963, I’m 10 years old and I’m off to buy my first piece of vinyl. I’m with my best mate Roger and . my dad! This was the deal, Roger would buy the Twist and Shout ep and I would buy The Beatles Hits ep. Sensible lads eh? We dumped dad on the way back, took the records straight back to Rogers house and loaded up his Radiogram. Now this was an impressive bit of kit, an immense wooden cabinet with a radio and record deck. All the mp3 files featured ar...

http://7and7is.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 19, 2005. Momus and the Devil. Well a bloke with the hairstyle of the devil anyway ;-). As promised a couple of older Momus. One from his 1995 album Slender Sherbet. Which was a album of new versions of songs from the 80s. "The Hairstyle of the Devil" is an acoustic take on the original beats and keyboards version. There is an obvious heavy debt to Jacques Brel. The Hairstyle of the Devil (mp3). But never got the credit for it. Posted by datz @ Saturday, February 19, 2005. Classic Bryt...

Short Squeeze: Flyin' High Again
http://shortsqueeze.blogspot.com/2005/01/flyin-high-again.html
Thought that I was living . but you can't really tell. Trying to get away from that success smell. Tuesday, January 18, 2005. Another weekend of pigskin prognosticating, another 3-1. Record. Not too shabby! Annoying bout of insomnia last night, brought on by not-sure-what. Thrashing around, night sweats; had the Byrds "Draft Morning" stuck in my head. Don't know where it came from - I haven't listened to Notorious Byrd Brothers. Or something. Yeah, imagine Piper. I had mentioned how surprising and deligh...
