The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: September 2005
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2005_09_01_archive.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Friday, September 30, 2005. Rita and fever update. James' fever broke in the night and before I left for work he was sitting up (he wasn't able to sit yesterday) and said 'I won't puke today'. Good. He was still hot, but not as much as he was, so better. He will spend the weekend recovering before heading back to daycare. Myron will have to work tomorrow to make up for some of the time lost. We have no internet. I took...

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: 13
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/13.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Thursday, May 07, 2015. Today was more springy. The tulips are close to coming out. I mowed the lawn. His cards had a theme as Oma and Grandad offered him kisses and Nat and Karrie offered him hugs. Not sure how impressed he was with that. He did like the basketball 2k15 and has spent all evening playing it. I was happy not to cook as he wanted Dominos. I made birthday brownies though! Posted by Aphra at 9:25 PM.

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: Garden
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/garden.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Friday, May 15, 2015. I have 2 aggressive techniques against dandelions going on. In the backyard I use the weed puller contraption until I get tired and then pull by hand. This leaves the backyard in good shape until tomorrow when a large number will again rear their heads:. Paula brought me some tomato seedlings which I planted. I dug up the plot and put the tiny seedlings in and watered them. 6:30 hornet wake up.

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: The teen years with no verbs
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-teen-years-with-no-verbs.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Thursday, May 07, 2015. The teen years with no verbs. James is now a teenager! And has given up the use of verbs. His favorite sayings now are "Can you not? And "I can't even". To which I always object that there are no verbs. He doesn't care though. He has his book club today, so had me bake brownies last night so he could contribute. (It is a school thing, not a voluntary thing). Posted by Aphra at 10:43 AM.

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: Green bin
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/green-bin.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Sunday, May 17, 2015. After waging much war on the dandelions, the green bin is completely full. The backyard is mostly won, just maintenance on new ones that pop up. (Took about 1/2 hour today) The front yard is a loss in that respect. I need the green bin to be emptied before I can begin that attack and recycling day will be late due to the holiday. James' arm is doing much better! Posted by Aphra at 6:27 PM.

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Thursday, March 31, 2005. Karen came to babysit for us Tuesday night and now James can't understand why she can't be around all the time. They must have had fun! We'll be heading to St. Catharines April 14th for a week of respite with Oma and Gadda. Hopefully, the weather will be good and we can have some fun outdoors. My tulips are starting to come out. I am looking forward to spring! Posted by Aphra at 6:49 AM. James...

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: August 2005

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Tuesday, August 30, 2005. We are preparing for rain as the old eye of Katrina approaches. Must pick up all James' toys from the yard! James got a little gift when he left daycare today because Payton's parents got married on the weekend. James was quite excited about this because he knew there were 2 chocolates in it! He declared that he would try them again when he was 4. It was pretty funny really! Posted by Aphra at...

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: Skunk storm
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/skunk-storm.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Wednesday, May 13, 2015. One night this week at 3am the neighbours dogs must have encountered a skunk. There was barking and then the skunk smell and then quiet. The skunk smell was still in the house when I got home from work. But that night there was a big thunderstorm to keep me awake. I think it washed away the skunk smell though. Posted by Aphra at 11:44 PM. An advisory for nice weather. 6:30 hornet wake up.

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: May 2005
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2005_05_01_archive.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Monday, May 30, 2005. A good day at daycare. Today the daycare teacher told me 'everyone was in a good mood', which apparently is rare on Mondays! James also did 2 pees at the daycare, so things are improving in that respect! James had an excellent lunch at daycare and some cheese when he got home so he hasn't been hungry for dinner yet. I'll have to work on dinner soon though! Posted by Aphra at 6:16 PM. Some sad news...

The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood: arm
http://aphrarogers.blogspot.com/2015/05/arm.html
The Rogers' - Welcome to our neighbourhood. A blog mainly about our 13 year old James! Saturday, May 16, 2015. James' arm was still hurting yesterday but was feeling better in the afternoon. I went shopping in the morning. First to Loblaws. There were no signs up indicating the holiday hours, which I thought was strange as normally stores here do that. I checked online and they are listed as closed on Monday. My baby tomato plants survived the night! Posted by Aphra at 10:33 AM. 6:30 hornet wake up.
